The Proactive Leadership II Course is a 3-day, 24-hour advanced leadership program designed for experienced leaders and supervisors. Course Overview

​

The Proactive Leadership II Course expands on the foundational skills taught in Proactive Leadership I, focusing on advanced behavioral models verified through research in neuroscience, psychotherapy, and leadership psychology. Participants learn to apply evidence-based techniques to manage conflict, improve decision-making, and build trust in high-stress, high-performance environments.

Combined with Proactive Leadership I, the curriculum combines 14 different overlapping communication and leadership behavioral models into one comprehensive approach to thinking, acting and speaking like a leader.

Using the tell-show-do training model, participants practice advanced questioning strategies, constructive confrontation techniques, and transformational leadership behaviors. Through guided instruction, interactive exercises, and real-world scenarios, this course equips leaders to handle complex interpersonal challenges and strengthen team dynamics.

Participants will learn:

  • How to ask powerful questions that improve decision-making and problem-solving

  • Challenging personal and team belief systems to overcome pessimism and resistance

  • Information processing models (Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic) to improve communication and rapport

  • Handling and making requests ethically and confidently

  • Using the G.R.I.P.E. confrontation model to resolve conflict constructively

  • Delivering constructive and supportive feedback to build trust and reduce distrust

  • Establishing subconscious rapport to encourage follower participation
